My stay at the hotel was pretty good overall. The room was spacious with nice furniture, but cleanliness could have been better. The hotel is located in a beautiful area just 20 minutes from Dundee. While the rooms were spacious with nice furniture, they were in need of refurbishing, looking very dated, tatty, and not as clean as expected. The service was friendly and helpful, priced accordingly for two rooms for one night. The central village location was convenient, but the overall decor and maintenance of the hotel could benefit from some investment. The dining experience was adequate, though the cold conservatory was a bit uncomfortable. The facilities were decent overall.
