Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was pretty good overall. The room was spacious with nice furniture, but cleanliness could have been better. The service was exactly what I needed, and the staff were friendly and approachable. The location was convenient for my plans, although there were some minor issues. The dining experience was decent, but timing was a bit of a challenge.
The hotel was in a lovely location, great for attending events like weddings, situated conveniently between Dundee and Edinburgh. The rooms were spacious and larger than expected, though the noise from the lobby could be a nuisance. The service was exceptional, with extremely helpful and informative staff making our stay enjoyable. The dining experience offered a good selection of dishes, perfect for all tastes. However, the rushed meals were a downside for those with time constraints. Overall, a brilliant venue for a wedding with a lovely conservatory for relaxation.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area just 20 minutes from Dundee. While the rooms were spacious with nice furniture, they were in need of refurbishing, looking very dated, tatty, and not as clean as expected. The service was friendly and helpful, priced accordingly for two rooms for one night. The central village location was convenient, but the overall decor and maintenance of the hotel could benefit from some investment. The dining experience was adequate, though the cold conservatory was a bit uncomfortable. The facilities were decent overall.
